Welcome!

There is a LOT packed into this program - you might use some of it and you might only use parts. Before you get started, we wanted to run you through how to best use this program.

Overview/Walkthrough

The program starts with the section titled "Welcome." From there, you simply want to run straight down the rest of the program. For example, during your first "large group gathering" (whether at home or at church!) start with the "Welcome" video and then go through the "Week 1" content.

The primary videos in each "week" are:

1. The Call To Worship Video
2. The Family Devotion Video
3. note: This video is only for the "devotion" that day. To continue on with prayer and family discussion at home or with families gathered, you can refer to the Leader Guides and the Family Devotion ebook for help navigating this time after the devotion. The Leader Guides are helpful for both large groups and individual families because they contain extra/optional activities for families.
4. The Closing Video

These are the main pillar videos of the program. The other videos in each session are 100% optional!

For example, if you have a worship team ready to go for your large group church meetings - then there is no need to play our worship video. Another example, when you present the "song of the week" you may decide to use either the "motions video" or the "lyric video" (or both!) depending on what you think is best for your group.

The sections before "Welcome" are mainly full of resources to help you along over the next 6 weeks. The only required document you need to go through this program is the "God of Generations: 5-minute Family Devotions" downloadable .pdf - go ahead and download this document, print it out, and/or add it to your preferred device.

*for those that prefer physical books - please feel free to print and distribute any .pdf document in this program!*

The "Leader Guides" will help you if you are a leading a large group session at a church OR if you are a family that wants to have a step by step guide as you watch the videos from home. They include optional activities, scripts, setlist, and playlists!

Depending on your situation, we also have the songs, instrumentals, chord charts, and lyric sheets available for you! Feel free to have you own worship team sing/lead the "song of the week" rather than using one of our videos!

Finally, our "Motion Training Videos" are there for you to use as you see fit. This might just be something you want have your leadership team use so that THEY can teach the motions to your families - OR maybe you'll just want Emily to teach the whole group? Either way works!

Please make sure to review the "Licenses and Permissions" section too know how you can and cannot use the files in this program.

How To Download:

If you are needing to download any of the files (videos, .pdfs. or music files) simply click "Title" link or "Download" link. This was a bit confusing for me at first and we plan to post a video soon to show where this is located - its almost always under the content you're looking to download.

Feel free to download the videos and upload them to a program you're familiar with for public broadcasting during the "large group gatherings." If you are looking to stream these videos online - please make sure you grab our streaming license. However, we do have a third option below.

Inviting You Families to Join

Don't care to stream the videos on your own site or social account but want to have your families go through this program at home (rather than gathering together #Covid19).

Family Worship Initiative App!

If you are a family using this at home or you want to send this program to your families so they can use it at home - things got even easier!

For this program we are using a platform called Teachable - and they have an app that will allow you to easily access this program! As of now, it seems that this app is only available for iOS devices.

Simply look for the "Teachable Online Courses" app, download and use your login credentials to access the content in this program on your device!
